Mark Stackhouse, 30, of Tuckerton, was arrested on Saturday, Apr. 6, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department said in a news release. He was charged with two counts of robbery.

Officers responded to an armed robbery report at the 7-Eleven on Tilton Road at around 6:28 p.m. Stackhouse ran away from the 7-Eleven and went toward a nearby Wawa.

Investigators said Stackhouse went into the 7-Eleven, told the female cashier that he had a gun, and threatened to shoot her if she didn't give him money. The cashier refused to give him money and he left the store.

As he left, Stackhouse tried to rob someone in the 7-Eleven parking lot and also threatened to shoot that person if they didn't give him money. That person also refused.

Stackhouse was held in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
